Bulkhead
A bulkhead is a retaining wall built along the edge of a waterfront property to hold back soil and protect the shoreline from erosion. It acts as a barrier between the land and water, preventing waves, tides, and runoff from washing away valuable property. In addition to stabilizing the shoreline, they help preserve usable land, protect structures, and can improve the overall appearance and functionality of the waterfront area.
Privacy Screen
A privacy screen involves strategically planting dense or fast-growing trees to create a natural barrier around a property. This enhances privacy by blocking views from neighbors or nearby roads while also reducing noise and wind. In addition to its functional benefits, a tree privacy screen adds beauty, shade, and creates a more secluded, comfortable space.
Full Makeover
This project began as a new residential construction with a pool and large proposed backyard feature hardscape area. We took this job through various stages of grading to include terracing the rear area with planter boxes and twin steps down to a large paver covered pool deck. Hidden behind the scenes on this project was the major terrain change from front to back allowing for detailed rock work interpreted with a drainage system to prevent the water shed from negatively impacting the outdoor areas. To further set this project apart is the 150 foot herring bone pattern drive that slowly curves down to the home. To complement the hardscape areas the home is wrapped in over 25,000 sq ft of sport grass Bermuda making it the perfect blend of function and appeal.
